Neenah Parks and Recreation Commission Historical Statement of Significance :
The Kimberly Lighthouse is of local historical significance for its association with Neenah's long history of recreational boating, and as the last park improvement funded as part of park donation by the city's prominent paper manufacturers. The lighthouse is also of architectural significance as an operating 20th century navigational facility, and as a unique interpretation of lighthouse design as applied to a municipal park structure.
